Arrive at Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, where a guide will welcome the group. Begin by visiting the Mass Grave Memorial for tsunami victims, a solemn site commemorating the 46,718 lives lost. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by midday prayers at the iconic Baiturrahman Grand Mosque.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to Ulee Lheue Port. Board the ferry to Sabang
Island. Upon arrival, visit the “I Love Sabang” monument, followed by lunch at a local restaurant.
After prayers at Sabang Mosque, explore the Japanese Fort, Sumur Tiga Beach, and the
famous Kilometer Zero Monument, marking the westernmost point of Indonesia.
Enjoy breakfast, then take a boat trip to Rondo Island to watch dolphins and snorkel. Lunch will
be served at sea. In the evening, after dinner, shop at Sabang Market for souvenirs before
returning to the hotel to pack for tomorrow’s journey back to Aceh.
After breakfast and check-out, take the ferry from Sabang back to Aceh. Upon arrival, visit PLTD
Apung Ship, a massive generator ship displaced 5 km inland by the tsunami, followed by tours
of the Aceh Museum and Tsunami Museum.
After breakfast, check out and head to Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport for the return flight to
Malaysia. En route, enjoy a beachside lunch at Lampuuk Beach, visit the floating mosque dome
in Sawah, and tour the historic Cut Nyak Dhien House before ending the trip.
